Develop system requirements, architecture models, interfaces, information flows, and traceability for a Canadian Armed Forces C5ISR-T headquarters system. Apply MBSE techniques using DNDAF and UAF, support verification and validation activities, review test artifacts, produce traceability matrices, and present progress to stakeholders. The role also involves delivering technical work products, meeting program milestones, and collaborating with Department of National Defence customers and internal teams.

Supports systems engineering for communication systems installed in ground combat vehicles and other mobile platforms. Responsibilities include developing requirements, performing technical analyses and trade studies, participating in peer reviews and systems integration, documenting recommendations, inspecting vehicles, supporting installations, and creating cable harness and vehicle communication system diagrams. The role requires collaboration with customers, OEMs, and internal engineering teams, along with potential travel to vehicle locations and eligibility for Canadian government security clearance.

Leads a six-person RMT&S engineering team and serves as Business Area Safety Authority. Oversees system safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, trainability, safety management, resource allocation, technical governance, and employee development across defense programs. The role includes hazard analysis, safety cases, FMECA, software safety, FRACAS, risk assessment, compliance with applicable standards, proposal support, continuous improvement, and executive reporting.
