Develops and integrates electrical and electronic systems for Virginia-class submarines. Responsibilities include requirements development, component and cable selection, design and drawing reviews, procurement specifications, testing documentation, technical manuals, risk management, lifecycle management, and coordination with engineering, shipyard, vendors, and NAVSEA organizations. The role also supports project schedules, budgets, configuration management, and occasional travel. Minimal software coding and engineering calculations are required.

Coordinates engineering tasks, technical discussions, action items, process improvements, and project workflows. Analyzes engineering and operational data, develops performance metrics, supports technical product quality assessments, monitors cost and schedule performance, and prepares technical correspondence for leadership. Collaborates with engineering, design, program offices, supervision, and external stakeholders while supporting multiple projects and departmental initiatives.

Maintain and optimize shipboard submarine IT systems, applications, networks, hardware, and test equipment. Develop security plans, POA&Ms, and RMF documentation while ensuring system reliability, security, and availability. Troubleshoot complex IT issues, manage multiple projects, and support Windows Server, Linux, real-time operating systems, Active Directory, networking topologies, and Group Policy. Domestic travel of up to 25% is required.
