Leads a cybersecurity boundary defense team while performing hands-on firewall, proxy, WAF, segmentation, architecture, change management, and incident response work. Oversees Palo Alto, Panorama, F5, and AWS WAF environments; designs zero-trust boundary controls; coordinates with DISA; manages rule reviews and documentation; and supports approved incident-response blocks. Requires extensive network security and DoD experience, PCNSE, CISSP, and an active Secret clearance.

Leads cybersecurity operations covering threat intelligence, detection engineering, analytics, automation, complex investigations, and intelligence-driven threat hunts. Translates technical findings into defensive priorities, detection requirements, and leadership recommendations. Directs detection-as-code and automation practices, partners with DoD and intelligence organizations, briefs senior cyber leaders, and mentors team members. Requires extensive information assurance, incident response, cyber threat intelligence, and DoD investigation experience, along with GCIH or GCFA, GCTI, CISSP, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Leads daily Department of War CSSP operations across boundary defense, infrastructure, security tools, threat detection, and 24/7 security operations. Manages DoD CSSP evaluation readiness, corrective actions, performance metrics, technical priorities, zero trust and cloud security initiatives, security posture changes, major incidents, Government coordination, and staffing development.
