Own hardware readiness for customer deployments, including schedules, kits, parts, shipping, site prerequisites, installations, and go-lives. Manage tier-two hardware escalations, RMAs, failure-analysis coordination, BOM accuracy, configuration control, development builds, test assets, and technician schedules. Coordinate with engineering, Field Ops, Purchasing, suppliers, and customers while building scalable readiness, RMA, and documentation processes. The role is based remotely in the U.S. or onsite in Pittsburgh, with regular travel to Pittsburgh and active customer deployments.

Build Gather AI’s data foundation from scratch by creating PostgreSQL extraction pipelines, dbt models, semantic metrics, data quality controls, tenant isolation, lineage, and documentation. The role includes warehouse data movement, ingestion-boundary validation, CI/CD delivery, safe backfills, on-call ownership, and collaboration across product, ML, security, and integration teams. Engineers will initially support the Drone product and later expand the platform to additional robotics and warehouse products.

Owns quality analysis for annotated computer vision and machine learning data. Responsibilities include reviewing annotation queues, maintaining verdict taxonomies and guidelines, tracking performance by facility and equipment, detecting anomalies, conducting root cause analysis, reporting findings, improving annotation tools, and establishing quality processes for new programs. The role requires independent Python and SQL analysis, strong statistical reasoning, clear documentation, and collaboration with ML and engineering teams.
