Join an established gastroenterology practice in Lima, Ohio, providing advanced endoscopy and digestive health care. The fellowship-trained physician will develop and expand an advanced endoscopy program offering EUS, ERCP, EMR, stenting, and biliary interventions. The role includes a 1:6 shared call schedule, on-site procedural facilities, hospital collaboration, clinical autonomy, leadership input, and partnership opportunities with equity and ASC ownership potential.

Greets and assists patients, verifies registration and insurance eligibility, manages referrals and payments, schedules and reschedules appointments, answers calls, maintains records, supports providers, and handles front-desk administrative tasks in a gastroenterology care center.

Performs FibroScan imaging examinations for patients age 16 and older, positioning patients, capturing clear images, following physician orders and safety standards, and maintaining patient comfort and confidentiality. Responsibilities include gathering clinical information, completing screening forms, coordinating with imaging staff, managing patient flow, performing equipment quality checks, troubleshooting issues, maintaining room cleanliness, and completing ongoing training. Medical Assistant experience is required; gastroenterology experience is preferred.
