Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, perform endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy, EGD, advanced as trained), develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with care teams, maintain accurate records, participate in research, teaching, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.

Provide nursing care before, during, and after endoscopy procedures in a GI clinic. Assess and educate patients, prepare procedure rooms, assist physicians, monitor vitals and recovery, document clinical updates, respond to emergencies, support patient transport and clinic operations, and ensure sterilization and regulatory compliance.

Provide hands-on patient care in an outpatient endoscopy setting: obtain histories and vitals, start IVs, assist providers during procedures, collect specimens, clean and reprocess scopes, support post-procedure care, follow infection control and regulatory protocols, and deliver Basic Life Support as needed.

The PRN Registered Nurse provides nursing care in a GI setting, assisting in procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring continuity of care with a focus on education and documentation.

Provide infusion therapy in an outpatient gastroenterology clinic: administer and monitor IV biologic/specialty medications, perform assessments, document in EMR, manage IV access, educate patients, respond to emergencies, maintain supplies, and support clinic operations and quality initiatives.
