Provide high-level operational and strategic support to the Executive Director, oversee assigned public health departments, manage program performance and compliance, lead preparedness and emergency response initiatives, develop and manage grants (including HRSA), support Board of Health governance, budget and fiscal oversight, build community partnerships, and represent leadership at meetings and special projects.

Lead and manage all operations of the Galveston County Health District, oversee clinical services and compliance, develop strategy and grants (especially HRSA), maintain community and board relationships, guide public health preparedness, and improve access and quality across multi-site clinics.

The EMS Training Officer coordinates training programs for EMS staff, manages onboarding, develops training materials, and collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and program effectiveness.
