Supports spacecraft mechanical engineering across structures, thermal analysis, and structural dynamics. Performs hand calculations, finite-element and thermal simulations, modal and vibration analysis, CAD preparation, materials and joint evaluation, and launch-load assessment. Reviews results for physical reasonableness and prepares engineering documentation. Requires strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and basic knowledge of FEA, thermal, modal, structural dynamics, and CAD. Exposure to aerospace tools and programming is preferred.

Supports development and testing of satellite optical image-processing pipelines that convert raw L0 data into calibrated and georeferenced L1C and L2A products. Responsibilities include radiometric and geometric correction, geolocation, orthorectification, atmospheric correction, noise modeling and mitigation, sensor simulation, validation, documentation, and collaboration with remote sensing, payload, software, and systems teams.

Connect mission control software with spacecraft flight software by defining and testing command, telemetry, protocol, and interface flows. Responsibilities include working with CCSDS packets, telecommands, telemetry, acknowledgements, CRCs, command dictionaries, ICDs, and spacecraft subsystem interfaces. The role translates mission requirements into software requirements, tests interfaces using simulators and FlatSat environments, and debugs issues across software, communications, and spacecraft systems teams.
