Production Supervisor responsible for managing daily manufacturing operations, leading teams of up to 25 employees, meeting production targets, monitoring quality and delivery, enforcing safety and union standards, and driving continuous improvement. The role involves analyzing bottlenecks, supporting engineering and new product initiatives, coaching employees, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining an organized, safe production environment.

Develop project-specific layouts and technical solutions for specialty elevator equipment. Review customer requirements, drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and orders; configure equipment through CPQ and ERP systems; process retrofit projects; provide technical support; resolve functionality issues; and collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Estimating, Engineering, and Manufacturing. Participate in client information-gathering meetings, site surveys, product development, and design change reviews while ensuring compliance with specifications, engineering standards, and manufacturing requirements.

Leads the mechanical design and development of custom freight elevator systems, doors, enclosures, and components. Manages engineering projects from concept through manufacturing and installation, creates SolidWorks designs and documentation, performs calculations, ensures code compliance, and provides technical leadership. Collaborates with manufacturing, sales, quality, and installation teams to improve product quality, cost, standardization, and efficiency. Provides production support and occasional field troubleshooting.
