Build and operate production-grade observability infrastructure across GCP and Kubernetes. Design OpenTelemetry pipelines, improve metrics, traces, logs, dashboards, SLIs, SLOs, and burn-rate alerting. Manage infrastructure with Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes; participate in on-call and incident response; conduct root-cause analyses; and collaborate with engineers on Go or Node.js instrumentation and reliability improvements.

Build, operate, and improve cloud infrastructure for FedRAMP-authorized environments, including AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, observability, and security automation. Investigate production incidents, remediate vulnerabilities, support compliance and audits, and improve reliability, scalability, and monitoring. Collaborate with engineering, security, compliance, and international teams while making independent architectural and operational decisions.

Evaluate AI coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code by assessing the quality, usefulness, correctness, reasoning, explanations, and engineering judgment of their interactions. Provide rigorous, opinionated feedback, distinguish response quality levels, and help define best practices for AI-assisted development workflows. This contract role requires strong software engineering experience, familiarity with Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, and hands-on use of modern coding-agent tools.
