Develop and maintain C/C++ embedded software for autonomous aircraft across microcontrollers and Linux application processors. Integrate aircraft sensors and perception systems, optimize real-time performance, build automated testing and simulation tools, and support software from architecture and hardware bring-up through flight testing. Diagnose complex hardware-software issues, contribute to safety and certification evidence, and provide technical leadership through architecture decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and multidisciplinary coordination.

Develop and lead production embedded C and C++ software for autonomous aircraft and UAS platforms. Responsibilities include board support, real-time and embedded Linux development, sensor and perception integration, system optimization, hardware bring-up, flight testing, debugging, automated testing, requirements traceability, and technical mentorship. The role collaborates across electrical, systems, controls, autonomy, manufacturing, and flight-operations teams.

Lead high-level electrical system design for UAS products, decomposing requirements into architectures, directing subsystem engineers, and integrating robust designs. Perform component trade studies, PCB layout and reviews, EMC compliance, signal and power integrity work, design verification testing, and manufacturing test development. Maintain electrical BOMs, collaborate with manufacturing and contract manufacturers, estimate project effort, and serve as a technical expert across key drone technologies.
