Drives business growth by identifying prospects, acquiring substantial core deposits, and building new business banking relationships across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC. Responsibilities include prospecting, networking, leading client meetings, coordinating with lenders and treasury partners, promoting banking products, managing pipelines, supporting pricing strategies, and reporting acquisition performance.

Assists the Controller with bank accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, regulatory and SEC filings, internal controls, audits, treasury functions, and process improvements. Manages accounting areas including accounts payable, fixed assets, accruals, and general ledger resolution. Leads and develops accounting staff while supporting compliance with GAAP, banking regulations, and disclosure requirements.

Investigates and mitigates complex banking fraud across checks, ACH, deposits, cards, wires, and Zelle. Conducts digital onboarding and application-fraud investigations, assesses high-risk activity, prepares regulatory and management reports, escalates suspicious activity, supports account decisions and closures, and ensures compliance with BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, bank policies, and internal controls. Partners with business units and supports fraud-awareness training.
