Fuse Integration Benefits Overview

Supports the planning, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrading of cybersecurity controls for DoD systems and networks. Responds to security incidents, identifies vulnerabilities, supports RMF compliance, configures firewalls and Linux systems, and administers virtualized environments. The role also participates in change management, agile planning, code reviews, and secure communications network design and testing.

Manage Fuse’s NSA-registered COMSEC account, including cryptographic keys, CCI, equipment, inventories, reporting, secure storage, transport, audits, incident response, SOPs, and training. Serve as COMSEC subject-matter expert and Alternate FSO while supporting classified programs, SAP/SCI activities, engineering teams, field deployments, and government compliance reviews. The role is primarily onsite in San Diego with occasional local and CONUS travel.

Leads integration, validation, modeling, simulation, experimentation, and operational evaluation for complex tactical communication systems. Develops validation strategies, test objectives, readiness criteria, and evidence-based recommendations. Identifies architectural gaps, interface mismatches, integration risks, and root causes while coordinating across software, networking, RF, cyber, hardware, and systems engineering teams. Supports mission demonstrations and communicates system readiness, residual risk, and delivery confidence to technical and program leadership.
