Develops low-level C/C++ firmware and drivers for microcontrollers and embedded peripherals. Designs real-time control software for energy devices, debugs bare-metal and RTOS systems, supports board bring-up, and maintains bootloaders, linker scripts, and deployment pipelines. Collaborates with hardware, systems, and controls teams on requirements and testing while using oscilloscopes, JTAG/SWD, and logic analyzers for debugging.

Design and develop renewable energy technologies from concept through commissioning and production launch. Analyze experimental and simulation data, conduct research and feasibility studies, evaluate emerging sustainable technologies, support certification and design-for-manufacture, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role also involves technical problem-solving, market research, business development, and managing multiple engineering projects.

Build and launch Fuse Energy’s Australian business unit in Melbourne. Responsibilities include establishing processes, systems, vendors, reporting, KPIs, and operating rhythms; owning launch workstreams; resolving bottlenecks; coordinating commercial, regulatory, finance, people, and customer functions; managing Australian partners and stakeholders; connecting local teams with London leadership; and using data and AI tools to improve decisions and reduce manual work.
