Monitor and maintain cattle health and welfare in the feedyard. Ride horses to observe livestock, detect and report sickness, segregate and move sick or stray cattle, inspect water systems, assist shipments, perform basic cattle doctoring, and maintain horses, tack, and facilities while following safety and Beef Quality Assurance standards.

Monitor daily cattle health and welfare, detect and report sick or stray animals, segregate and transfer sick cattle, inspect watering systems, assist with cattle movement and shipments, maintain horses and tack, follow safety and Beef Quality Assurance procedures, and perform other feedyard duties to support overall feedyard operations.

Supervise and coordinate feed mill operations and a team of 7–11, manage controls and scales to produce consistent rations, maintain inventory and records, schedule ration flow, troubleshoot mechanical issues, enforce safety and HR policies, and ensure efficient, timely feed production per nutrition guidelines.
