Operate a Zeiss Contura CMM with Calypso to inspect complex metal 3D-printed parts. Create and execute inspection programs, interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, select appropriate gauges, document results, communicate quality issues, maintain inspection records and equipment, and improve inspection workflows. The role is on second shift and may require overtime and physical handling of tools and equipment.

Leads machine learning research for physical AI and production-scale metal additive manufacturing. Develops hybrid physics-ML models using high-dimensional sensor data, simulation, digital twins, and closed-loop control. Research includes prediction, autonomy, anomaly detection, machine health monitoring, and process optimization. The role validates models against physical outcomes and integrates them into production software and manufacturing workflows while defining technical direction and standards for machine learning applied to physical systems.

Design, prototype, test, integrate, and validate mechanical components, assemblies, precision motion systems, and thermal/fluid subsystems for autonomous metal 3D-printing factories. Interns own impactful cradle-to-grave projects, perform tolerance analysis and feasibility studies, and collaborate with electrical, software, and senior mechanical engineers to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
