The Preconstruction Manager prepares project estimates, budgets, bids, and schedules; supports value engineering; coordinates project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners; and communicates with clients and stakeholders. The role requires construction document management, constructability knowledge, cost management, and proficiency with preconstruction technology. The manager helps ensure accurate pricing, efficient processes, and alignment with company preconstruction standards.

Oversee construction safety programs across multiple jobsites and regions. Conduct inspections, hazard assessments, audits, incident investigations, and compliance reviews. Lead safety training, orientations, toolbox talks, and corrective actions while maintaining regulatory documentation and analyzing safety trends. Partner with project and operations leadership to integrate safety into planning and execution, mentor safety professionals, and recommend policy and process improvements.

Manages commercial and industrial construction projects from planning through execution. Leads project meetings, communicates plans, manages subcontractor performance and project risks, oversees budgets and procurement, coordinates buyouts and contracts, evaluates change orders, and maintains relationships with owners and stakeholders. The role requires strong negotiation, communication, presentation, supervisory, and financial management skills, along with willingness to travel.
