Teams at Foundry Robotics

Operate and improve infrastructure spanning AWS, Kubernetes, on-premises and edge systems, deployment pipelines, GPU workloads, networking, and observability. Build infrastructure as code with Terraform and GitOps, troubleshoot networking issues, support factory-floor devices, maintain trustworthy alerts, and apply secure access and secrets-management practices. The role may also involve Kubernetes on-premises, arm64 edge fleets, over-the-air updates, WireGuard networks, robotics hardware, and ITAR or CMMC environments.

Lead the Cell Platform team owning the software/hardware layer between firmware and application on robot cells. Responsible for product roadmap, releases, hands-on development, hiring, and cross-team partnerships. Deliver embedded Linux/BSP bring-up, sensor integration, real-time determinism, middleware (ROS2/DDS) and data transport design, containerized images, CI/CD release engineering, and fleet-scale OTA/provisioning and observability for production robot fleets.

Own Foundry Robotics’ security and compliance program, including CMMC Level 2 certification, NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS compliance, ITAR/EAR controls, and CUI protection. Lead identity, endpoint, network, cloud, edge, and on-premises security; manage incident response and third-party risk; and build the security roadmap, budget, and team. The role requires hands-on security engineering, facility security expertise, startup leadership, and collaboration across engineering, IT, quality, and operations.
