Teams at Foundation Robotics

Design and develop mechanical architectures for humanoid robotic hands, including joints, structures, tendon-driven actuation, transmissions, and integrated electronics. Prototype, test, and iterate designs for strength, dexterity, durability, and manufacturability. Conduct stress, fatigue, and failure analyses; select materials based on mechanical and wear properties; and integrate sensors within highly space-constrained mechanisms.

Leads the end-to-end development of an autonomous electric ATV from prototype through production. Defines program strategy, product priorities, technical roadmaps, requirements, performance targets, and manufacturing readiness. Coordinates mechanical, electrical, software, AI, operations, suppliers, and leadership while managing tradeoffs among cost, performance, schedule, risk, and manufacturability. Drives resource allocation, validation, reliability growth, build-versus-buy decisions, and organizational improvements.

Supports finance and business operations for a robotics startup, including accounts payable, payment cycles, purchase orders, vendor administration, budgeting, financial modeling, fundraising diligence, audit readiness, equity administration, contracts, and customer deal analysis. Works directly with senior operations and finance leadership, prepares investor and customer materials, and occasionally supports domestic and international travel.
