Teams at Foundation Robotics

Build the world-model intelligence layer for a general-purpose humanoid robot. Responsibilities include developing predictive world simulators and model-based reinforcement learning systems; applying transformers, diffusion models, NeRFs, and recurrent state-space models; implementing research in Python and C++; integrating models with ROS2 and simulation environments; closing the sim-to-real gap; and converting research prototypes into tested, production-ready systems for real-time robotics.

Lead mechanical design and ownership for a humanoid robotics platform, spanning actuators, battery, embedded electronics, structures, and harnessing. Drive design for manufacturability, reliability, cost, and performance; mentor engineers; define architecture and collaborate with AI, software, electrical, and manufacturing teams to scale production.

Lead software bring-up and integration for robot hardware, develop and maintain automated and HIL test frameworks, validate firmware/middleware/control modules, execute functional/performance tests across robotic subsystems, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to debug and document procedures for continuous testing and deployment.
