Provide hands-on legal advice on insurance product design, coverage, and claims for admitted, surplus lines, and warranty/service contract products. Partner with Underwriting, Product, Regulatory, Claims, and leadership to draft and interpret policy language, assess coverage positions, manage disputes, support regulatory matters, and coordinate with outside counsel on high-risk coverage issues.

Lead and manage premium operations including reconciliations, receivable tracking, payments processing, SOX compliance, team coaching, performance reporting, process improvements, and budget/AOP support to meet financial and service SLAs.

Review and adjudicate various claim types by analyzing documentation, policy coverage, and eligibility. Provide professional customer service across channels, investigate potential fraud, process payments or adjustments, maintain accurate records and tracking systems, and meet productivity, quality, and compliance standards while identifying process improvements.
