Create and optimize CAM programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills from blueprints and CAD, verify programs with simulation, design tooling/fixtures, support shop troubleshooting, and document standards for production.

Set up and operate CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate metal and nonmetal parts. Read blueprints, select tooling and fixtures, set machining parameters or input/edit control media, run trial cuts, monitor operations, inspect finished parts for conformance, and collaborate with engineers and programmers to resolve machining issues.
