Teams at Forensic Access

Provides supervised laboratory and administrative support in a forensic histology environment. Responsibilities include receiving and tracking specimens, specimen preparation, archiving, equipment checks, cleaning and waste management, stock control, document control, and maintaining quality, safety, confidentiality, and information-governance standards. The role requires accuracy, integrity, organization, communication, initiative, and willingness to learn. It is based onsite in Wantage, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours weekly, and requires security clearance.

Processes forensic samples using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS, maintains laboratory equipment, analyzes and records analytical data, and supports accurate reporting. The role requires adherence to laboratory procedures, ISO 17025 standards, good laboratory practice, confidentiality, and a clean and safe working environment. Candidates should have a science degree or relevant experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and preferably experience in chemistry, forensic science, toxicology, or an ISO 17025 laboratory.
