Coordinates the full lifecycle of German and EU public funding projects, including opportunity assessment, applications, payment requests, financial reporting, compliance, audit-ready documentation, and close-out. Consolidates inputs from technical, finance, and external partners; tracks budgets, deadlines, eligibility, and risks; and improves workflows, templates, data quality, and AI-enabled processes. The role requires strong public funding administration experience, financial accuracy, cross-functional coordination, and fluent German and English.

Design, deploy, and integrate machine learning models into digital twins and multiphysics simulation environments for laser-driven fusion systems. Develop physics-informed models, surrogate models, ML pipelines, anomaly detection, Bayesian optimization, and reinforcement-learning solutions. Work with HPC simulations, sensor data, uncertainty quantification, and autonomous system optimization while collaborating with physicists, optical engineers, and systems engineers.
