Expression-of-interest opportunity for 2D animation design artists across character, environment, prop, vehicle, colour script, background layout, and background paint disciplines. Artists will create production-ready artwork, replicate established show styles, meet quotas and deadlines, communicate clearly, and collaborate within animation pipelines. Roles range from strong mid-level artists to leads, with Sydney-based, hybrid, and remote opportunities available.

Create and implement digital crowd behaviours and simulations to meet the Animation Director and VFX Supervisor's vision. Collaborate with VFX/CG leads and animation teams, build automated templates and pipeline tools, mentor junior TDs, attend meetings, and deliver shots on schedule with high-quality output.

Lead and produce visual effects for animation, mentor the effects crew, and ensure creative standards are met while managing workflows and deadlines.

Manage and modernise on-premises storage and core infrastructure for a creative animation studio. Own enterprise SAN/NAS, fibre switching, backups/archives (Bacula + LTO8), AD/DNS/DHCP, virtualization (Proxmox/Hyper-V), networking and security. Provide hands-on systems administration, ticket support, automation (Python/PowerShell/Bash), vendor liaison, documentation, and drive storage consolidation while meeting client security standards (TPN/MPAA).

Manage HR operations for Sydney studio: handle employee and industrial relations, benefits and compensation administration, engagement and L&D initiatives, HR reporting and compliance (including award audits), support managers, and collaborate with global People & Culture teams to scale HR practices across studios.

Create and execute high-quality stylized CGFX (fire, smoke, water, particles, destruction) for animated films/episodic under CG FX supervision. Build setups, run simulations, generate caches, maintain effect presets, render show-compatible elements, and mentor junior artists.

The 3D Animation Lead manages a team of animators, ensuring workflow and communication. Responsibilities include overseeing assignments, mentoring junior artists, providing feedback, and collaborating with various departments to maintain animation quality.
