Build and operate full-stack software for legal case analysis, including interfaces, data models, document-processing workflows, retrieval and LLM-powered features. Design systems that connect claims to evidence, preserve competing interpretations, evaluate AI outputs, incorporate attorney corrections, and protect case-sensitive information. Own major features from design through launch, make architectural tradeoffs, review code, and guide technical decisions while collaborating with lawyers, founders, and engineers.

Build frontend and backend features, data integrations, and AI workflows for legal casework. Collaborate directly with lawyers and legal engineers to understand needs, ship dependable software, troubleshoot usage, and improve products through feedback. Responsibilities include handling sensitive case information, testing software, investigating AI-generated output, and developing reusable solutions across legal teams.

The Legal Engineer works with litigators and engineers to translate legal judgment into software workflows. Responsibilities include reviewing AI-generated legal analysis, validating evidence and citations, developing legal guidance and evaluation criteria, testing product features, designing research and case-development workflows, and supporting lawyers using the platform. The role focuses initially on antitrust and requires strong substantive legal analysis, research, writing, and communication skills. Coding is not required, but curiosity about AI and legal technology is important.
