FLS Transportation Benefits Overview

Analyze truckload, flatbed, temperature-controlled, and intermodal pricing for internal stakeholders. Prepare historical analyses, RFPs, RFIs, and quote proposals, while collaborating with sales, operations, contracting, and revenue accounting to maintain accurate contract rates, fuel surcharges, and accessorials in the TMS. The role requires transportation pricing expertise, carrier procurement knowledge, strong Excel and data-analysis skills, and understanding of spot-market and contract-rate dynamics.

Manages daily LTL shipments from quoting and booking through delivery, including carrier coordination, tracking, customer communication, invoicing, claims management, and billing discrepancy resolution. Maintains accurate shipment data in TMS platforms, monitors carrier performance, resolves service issues, and supports profitability through accurate rating and cost control.

Coordinates freight shipments by scheduling carriers, negotiating rates, sourcing equipment, tracking shipments, resolving transit issues, and communicating with account managers. Conducts carrier sourcing, market research, customer quoting, and supports new business development. Requires strong organization, communication, customer service, computer, and multitasking skills, along with a passion for sales and logistics.
