Flora Carbon AI is a climate-technology startup headquartered in Kolkata, India, building the operating system for carbon project development. Carbon projects take two to four years and extensive cost before issuing a single credit, and close to half never issue one at all. The constraint is rarely the land or the science it is the cost and complexity of measuring, documenting and verifying the work. We build software that addresses every stage of that process. FloraScope - conducts satellite-based land screening and pre-feasibility assessment. FloraCarbon - quantifies carbon at species level. FloraTrace - captures tree-level field data through a mobile application, tagging and measuring individual trees, forming the field layer of our digital MRV (dMRV) system. CarbonIntel converts that evidence into audit-ready registry documentation. The platform is built by practitioners.
