Teams at Flipturn

Build and improve Flipturn’s embedded Linux controller for EV charging and energy management. Responsibilities include integrating chargers, batteries, generators, meters, and utility programs; upgrading Yocto-based systems, bootloaders, and board bring-up; and delivering firmware and full-stack features. The role also involves customer feedback, product vision, end-to-end delivery, and contributing to engineering team culture.

Provide first-line customer support for EV charging infrastructure issues. Investigate charger logs and histories, troubleshoot and resolve common problems, onboard customers and chargers, establish OCPP and cellular connections, reproduce and escalate bugs, coordinate with charger and vehicle OEMs, and develop support runbooks. The role requires clear communication, autonomy, technical problem-solving, and experience with ticketing platforms and AI tools.

Own full sales cycle for enterprise fleet, transit, and autonomous vehicle customers. Build outbound pipeline, negotiate contracts, close deals, collaborate with product and operations, contribute to sales playbook, and travel to customer sites and events (≈25%).
