Conduct engineering-based commercial property analyses to identify assets eligible for accelerated depreciation. Review architectural plans, construction documents, and site conditions; classify building components under IRS guidelines; allocate costs; and prepare defensible cost segregation reports. Collaborate with tax advisors, engineers, and clients, maintain knowledge of tax regulations, manage multiple projects, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Manage property valuation appeal cases for clients, including analyzing property valuations, identifying tax savings, preparing projections and budgets, negotiating with assessing jurisdictions, presenting appeals, communicating with clients and prospects, settling claims, and reviewing invoices. The role requires a Juris Doctor, state bar admission, strong analytical and communication skills, and an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0.

Provides legal and administrative support to two attorneys, focusing on property tax appeals. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting and filing documents, preparing hearing materials, tracking deadlines, maintaining client files, coordinating hearings, communicating with clients and officials, managing calendars, processing correspondence, and assisting with billing.
