Manage feed mill operations and staff, oversee maintenance and preventative programs, ensure feed quality and regulatory compliance, manage budgets and inventory, conduct safety training, and maintain technical knowledge.

Operates the main truck scale, weighs incoming and outgoing feedlot truck loads, verifies and corrects scale ticket information, and prepares and distributes generated and routine reports. The role also requires basic use and troubleshooting of office equipment and software, applying practical mathematical concepts, interpreting procedures, writing correspondence, multitasking, and maintaining accuracy in office-based work.

Receive and inspect incoming cattle, move and sort animals humanely, coordinate feeding and pen movements, perform processing (tagging, vaccines, implants, treatments), maintain records and processing area, coordinate shipments, and follow safety protocols.
