Periodic portfolio travel is required.

Manages a large Virginia affordable-housing portfolio, including Site and Property Managers, staffing, training, performance management, financial results, inspections, vendor relationships, regulatory compliance, expense control, and property operations. The role coordinates with agencies and housing authorities, addresses deficiencies, supports hiring and HR matters, and helps ensure properties meet operational and budgetary goals. Travel may reach 80% with frequent overnight stays.

Manage day-to-day operations of assigned affordable housing properties: rent collections, resident applications, move-ins/outs, inspections, maintenance oversight, regulatory compliance (Fair Housing, Rural Development/HUD/LIHTC), staff training, vendor coordination, and expense control to meet property performance goals.
