Prepare and file U.S. patent prosecution documents, manage prosecution dockets and deadlines, obtain client instructions, track office actions and assignments, and accurately record billable time. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, teamwork, and at least five years of U.S. patent prosecution experience. Foreign prosecution experience is a plus. The position requires meeting a 1,300-hour annual billing target and working in the office at least three days per month.

Maintains intellectual property systems through audits, data cleanup, and validation; supports matter opening and staffing updates; develops recurring and ad hoc reports; and assists with automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency for IP teams and practice groups.

Leads the billing team and oversees accurate, timely, and compliant client invoicing, including eBilling and alternative fee arrangements. Partners with attorneys and Finance to resolve billing issues, improve revenue-cycle performance, and manage aged work in progress. Analyzes billing metrics, identifies risks and opportunities, implements process improvements, and leads system and workflow enhancements while developing staff and supporting exceptional client service.
