Teams at First Place for Youth

Coordinates core HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, I-9 and background checks, personnel records, HRIS data, benefits, leave, workers’ compensation, compliance, audits, training, employee inquiries, payroll coordination, and offboarding. The role requires confidentiality, accuracy, strong organization, and professional communication while supporting employees and the broader HR team.

Leads First Place for Youth’s national growth strategy, including market expansion, government partnerships, public funding, policy advocacy, and program scaling. Works with the CEO and executive team to identify new markets, secure Title IV-E and workforce development funding, develop strategic partnerships, track growth and impact KPIs, and represent the organization nationally. Manages and develops a high-performing national and policy team while advancing services for transition-age foster youth across multiple states.

Leads multi-site foster youth programs, overseeing service delivery, operations, budgets, contracts, compliance, quality improvement, staff hiring and development, community partnerships, and program outcomes. Provides clinical and programmatic leadership, manages geographically distributed teams, represents the organization externally, and ensures regulatory and contract requirements are met.
