Teams at First 5 Alameda County

Leads planning, coordination, administration, evaluation, and continuous improvement for Alameda County’s Fathers Corps initiative. Coordinates trainings, learning communities, partnerships, workgroups, contracts, budgets, compliance, reports, surveys, and special projects. Develops father-friendly programming, analyzes data, facilitates meetings, supports agency events, and collaborates with internal teams and community partners. The role requires five years of relevant program management experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and occasional travel within and outside Alameda County.

Manages First 5 Alameda County’s social media platforms, newsletters, content calendar, website updates, and digital communications strategy. Creates copy, graphics, short-form video, presentations, talking points, and campaign materials; builds community engagement; supports executive communications; monitors digital trends; and reports on performance metrics to refine strategy. The role also provides general communications support, coordinates with vendors, and translates policy and program information for families, partners, and the public.

Develop agency-wide budgets, forecasts, financial models, and fiscal analyses; monitor program and contract performance; build dashboards and reporting systems; identify financial trends and risks; improve analytical processes; and translate complex findings into recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
