Administers health, welfare, retirement, compensation, and salary programs while ensuring legal compliance and equitable practices. Oversees benefits vendors, renewals, audits, reporting, employee communications, HCM optimization, and compensation surveys. Coordinates merit planning, salary adjustments, job analysis, and manager guidance on labor laws. Maintains HR policies, records, and systems, and supports benefits and compensation issue resolution. The role is an individual contributor based in San Diego with up to 5% travel.

Own and scale Firestorm’s export management and compliance program across ITAR, EAR, OFAC, customs, and allied-country regulations. Lead jurisdiction and classification determinations, licensing, screening, technical-data controls, audits, investigations, training, and government interactions. Advise Engineering, Legal, Business Development, Operations, and leadership; integrate compliance into ERP, PLM, and business workflows; manage outside counsel; and build the trade compliance team.

Integrates avionics, mission payloads, flight controllers, embedded subsystems, tactical networks, RF communications, and software for unmanned aerial systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software, developing automation scripts, creating and executing test plans, documenting systems, supporting deployments, repairing equipment, and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and customers. The role is on-site in Rome, NY, involves austere field conditions and up to 15% travel, and requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD security clearance.
