Develops, qualifies, and continuously improves CNC and KUKA robotic machining processes for aerospace composite structures. Responsibilities include toolpath programming, robotic simulation, tooling and fixturing, workholding, process capability, inspection, troubleshooting, documentation, nonconformance resolution, equipment implementation, and production support. The engineer partners with design and manufacturing teams to deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective processes meeting demanding aerospace tolerances and schedules.

Improves work-order processes, manages suppliers and schedules, supports make-or-buy decisions, reconciles design intent with as-built hardware, participates in design reviews, creates manufacturing bills of materials and RFQs, manages inventory, and dispositions nonconformances. The role works closely with engineers, technicians, welders, purchasers, contractors, and leadership at an on-site rocket manufacturing facility.
