Lead AWS application modernization, cloud migration, microservices, integration, and serverless architecture initiatives. Define target-state architectures, modernize legacy platforms, establish cloud and infrastructure standards, design event-driven systems and APIs, develop Terraform standards, and guide engineering teams through specification-driven delivery and DevOps practices. This is a fully remote, six-month contract supporting stakeholders across Southeast Asia, LATAM, and the Middle East.

Develop and support cloud-native AWS applications using microservices, serverless architectures, REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and infrastructure as code. Build solutions with Lambda, Fargate, ECS, API Gateway, Step Functions, messaging services, EventBridge, and DynamoDB. Collaborate with distributed teams in a specification-driven environment while using Python, Node.js, Terraform, Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and GenAI-assisted development tools.

Design and operate an enterprise observability platform across Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and on-premises environments. Build centralized logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerting, synthetic monitoring, and telemetry pipelines using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry. Establish logging and telemetry standards, develop runbooks, support incident troubleshooting, and improve MTTD and MTTR. Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, QA, operations, and support teams.
