Teams at Fingerprint

Lead a senior engineering team building Fingerprint’s Automation Intelligence product from beta through commercial launch. Own product readiness, service reliability, detection accuracy, testing, rollout quality, API contracts, observability, team growth, and AI-native engineering practices. Partner with product, research, and customer-facing teams while establishing autonomous ownership, quality metrics, and contract-first APIs for detecting and classifying bots, AI agents, and other automation.

Research and validate novel browser-based device identification and bot-detection techniques, assess their real-world impact, build research automation tooling, monitor browser changes, and guide findings through engineering implementation. The role requires deep browser, JavaScript, web security, networking, reverse-engineering, experimentation, and large-scale data analysis expertise, plus clear communication with product and engineering teams.

Build and operate highly performant backend systems powering fraud-detection Identification APIs. Design scalable services for real-time processing, own reliability through SLIs, SLOs, observability, on-call response, and incident follow-up, and conduct capacity planning, load testing, and performance tuning. Partner on integrations, automate operational tasks, maintain production services, and mentor engineers in a globally remote environment.
