Leads funeral home operations and staff, provides funeral arrangements and services, performs embalming and deceased preparation, manages client paperwork and legal documentation, trains team members, conducts community outreach, and supports families throughout pre-service, service, and post-service activities.

Manages funeral arrangements from initial family consultations through final disposition, including embalming, transfers, preparation of decedents, service coordination, documentation, and post-service follow-up. Provides compassionate client support, oversees service teams, participates in community activities, ensures legal compliance, and works on-call. The role requires current state funeral directing and embalming licensure, a valid driver’s license, and frequent travel of up to 70% between regional markets.

Provides administrative and clerical support to managers, staff, and client families. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, correspondence, data entry, account and financial tracking, inventory management, office supply ordering, documentation processing, website updates, and funeral service paperwork such as cremation permits and death certificates.
