Teams at Financial Conduct Authority

Lead and support FCA engagement with IOSCO committees, develop international policy positions, monitor international regulatory developments, provide analysis and brief senior leaders, manage stakeholders, and contribute to broader Global Institutions Team projects such as IMF assessments and non-bank financial intermediation work.

Provide operational support across governance, risk, controls, quality assurance, and business improvement. Work with cross-functional teams to identify issues and themes, track and own actions, support governance forums, prepare updates and papers, and help teams identify and manage operational risks proportionately to improve processes and outcomes.

Serve as an independent, appointed Panel member representing consumer and small-business interests to the FCA. Provide strategic advice, challenge policy proposals, lead on topic areas (mortgages, retail investments, or retail insurance), contribute to consultations, attend twice-monthly meetings, maintain subject-matter expertise, and commit at least 35 days per year. Role requires strong consumer advocacy, policy experience, analytical and communication skills, UK right-to-work, and passing due diligence and SC-level security vetting.
