Supports FCA policy work on consumer redress, compensation, and claims management. The role develops policy proposals and consultations, prepares communications and briefings, advises stakeholders, builds regulatory relationships, and uses data from firms, FOS, and FSCS to inform consumer protection decisions. Lead the architecture and hands-on development of the FCA’s AWS-based AI platform. Build model gateways, RAG and memory services, agent orchestration, guardrails, evaluation tooling, observability, and secure self-service capabilities. Establish AI development lifecycle, CI/CD, quality, safety, and governance standards while partnering with product and engineering teams. The role requires technical leadership, production backend engineering, AWS expertise, AI platform experience, and experience delivering auditable solutions in regulated environments.
