Fieldpiece Instruments Benefits Overview

The Director of Engineering will lead and scale Fieldpiece’s engineering organization across hardware, firmware, software, connected products, and AI-enabled technologies. Responsibilities include establishing engineering processes, governance, technical standards, metrics, platform architecture, resource planning, and product development practices. The role will develop high-performing teams, manage internal and external engineering capabilities, partner cross-functionally, and create a roadmap for future engineering investments and organizational growth.

Provides executive and administrative support to the General Manager and EMEA leadership team. Manages calendars, meetings, travel, communications, presentations, expenses, and office operations. Owns special projects, coordinates cross-functional initiatives, improves processes, supports CRM and NPS activities, manages vendors and supplies, and ensures priorities and follow-up remain on track.

Build and deploy production AI solutions that improve business workflows, including AI agents, copilots, RAG systems, automations, and decision-support applications. Partner with teams across the organization to translate business needs into technical solutions, integrate enterprise platforms, establish testing and governance, and support user adoption. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and continuously improve solutions for reliability, security, scalability, and business value.
