Teams at Field Museum of Natural History

Conduct phylogenomic research on lichens using RADseq and target enrichment datasets. Perform SNP data processing, population structure analyses, phylogenetic inference, and species delimitation using R and Python on Linux. Lead at least one first-author manuscript, contribute to collaborative projects, and mentor undergraduate students from underrepresented groups. Work on-site at The Field Museum for a two-year appointment.

Support museum culture and community engagement by assisting with public programming, heritage month events, and employee engagement initiatives. Duties include event planning, logistics, research, internal communications, and cross-department collaboration. Gain experience in inclusive program design, facilitation, and professional development.
