Teams at Ferrum College

Provide administrative leadership and operational oversight for the college Physical Plant Division. Coordinate daily operations, manage work order and record systems, oversee fleet, inventory, purchasing, payroll/timecards, and vendor coordination. Support budgeting, safety/compliance, emergency response, and continuous improvement while developing procedures, strengthening team capability, and ensuring efficient facility, grounds, housekeeping, and transportation services.

Teach undergraduate Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics and other business courses; advise and mentor students; participate in curriculum development, assessment, committees, and community engagement; support experiential learning; maintain professional engagement and, for tenure-track, pursue scholarly activity.

Manage and oversee all campus grounds and athletic field maintenance, supervise grounds staff, develop maintenance and enhancement plans, manage budget, coordinate landscape design and sustainability initiatives, ensure safety/compliance, and perform physical outdoor work as required.
