Supervise propane-cylinder production operations across assigned shifts, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, staffing, training, regulatory compliance, and production targets. Manage and develop employees, enforce policies, monitor performance metrics, improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste and costs, and maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and environmental standards.

Supervises operational safety and compliance across plants, vehicles, employees, and potentially multiple locations. Responsibilities include inspections, training compliance, DOT and cargo tank requirements, risk assessment, leak checks, red-tag processes, vehicle maintenance coordination, safety communications, customer training, and operational goal achievement. Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, three years of experience, and a Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.

Performs hands-on propane cylinder production, cleaning, sorting, painting, refurbishing, leak testing, quality checks, labeling, and palletizing. Operates production-line equipment and manually inspects cylinders for safety and weight issues. The role requires repeated lifting, outdoor work in varying weather, adherence to safety procedures, reliability, basic technical comprehension, and willingness to work overtime.
