Delivers meals to clients across multiple daily routes, loads vehicles, follows food-handling procedures, records recipient information, and communicates issues to site managers and nutrition or social-work teams. The role may also assist with meal preparation, food distributions, truck spotting, volunteer support, and coverage across multiple sites. Requires a valid New York State driver’s license, automobile access, and ability to lift at least 35 pounds.

Manages site operations for meal delivery, including route coverage, meal safety, equipment handling, reporting, and volunteer and staff supervision. Delivers meals as needed, communicates recipient safety concerns, maintains volunteer schedules and site records, supports route preparation, and assists with community food distribution, meal preparation, and other mission-related activities.

Directs administration and daily operations for Meals on Wheels site services. Oversees meal delivery, volunteers, Site Managers, and Site Assistants; manages scheduling, hiring, training, audits, payroll and mileage submissions, policy implementation, reporting, community representation, and site issue resolution. Supports volunteer retention and recognition, emergency site decisions, food distribution, meal preparation, and direct meal delivery as needed.
