Develop and maintain high-quality Java software, design performant solutions, review code, automate testing and delivery, maintain CI/CD pipelines, analyze performance, manage incidents, apply secure development practices, and contribute to technical governance and agile process improvement. The role also involves breaking requirements into deliverable work, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring peers through knowledge sharing and constructive feedback.

Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 database engineers within the Infrastructure Platform organization. Responsibilities include coaching, performance management, resource planning, talent retention and recruitment, culture building, and collaboration with Product Managers and other Line Managers. The role is a one-year maternity leave cover in a fast-paced, agile technology environment.

Owns governance, implementation, quality assurance, and optimization of a responsible gaming detection and intervention product across regulated markets. Responsibilities include defining requirements, calibrating systems, validating outputs, maintaining documentation, monitoring performance, aligning market needs, and educating stakeholders. The role collaborates with Product, Compliance, Data, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve player protection, regulatory compliance, and customer experience.
