Favor Delivery Employee Perspectives

Tell us about your recent promotion.

My career journey with Favor began as a runner in the gig economy, where I immediately experienced the company’s incredible culture and community. With over 15 years of experience as a support leader, I knew I wanted to be a part of Favor in a support role if the opportunity ever arose. Five years ago, I joined as a support team lead, and since then, I’ve had the chance to grow through roles like quality manager in support operations, senior manager of support and now, senior live operations manager.

Each opportunity came from being given the space to share ideas, build relationships across the company, try new solutions and make recommendations. I feel valued and am always a part of a collaborative environment. This latest role represents another opportunity to make an impact while continuing to grow alongside an amazing team.

What will this new role let you do?

This new role allows me to focus on real-time solutions to real-time problems, enabling faster interventions that prevent orders from failing rather than just analyzing failure data after the fact. I’ll have the opportunity to address issues at a more granular level — down to specific neighborhoods, merchants and hourly intervals — rather than focusing solely on macro market trends. This level of precision empowers me to create more impactful, data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver a smoother experience for all customers and stakeholders.

How would you describe Favor Delivery’s approach to internal mobility or upskilling?

Favor has a culture that values and supports internal mobility and upskilling. The company actively notices when team members contribute beyond their current roles and creates opportunities for them to share their skills and perspectives across teams. Once your strengths are recognized, Favor creates space for you to grow and apply those skills in new ways that align with both your development goals and the company’s objectives.

For example, many team members from the support team have transitioned into roles in product, UX, sales, account management and operations. Favor also fosters growth through initiatives, which encourage cross-department collaboration, idea-sharing and skill-building. These opportunities highlight Favor’s commitment to helping team members explore new paths and contribute to the company’s success in diverse and meaningful ways.
