Provide product counseling throughout the product lifecycle, advising product, engineering, security, marketing, and business teams on privacy, intellectual property, AI, data protection, and regulatory issues. Draft and negotiate customer, partner, vendor, and technology agreements; review terms, disclosures, and marketing content; and develop legal playbooks, policies, training, and process improvements. The role requires pragmatic, collaborative legal guidance for innovative edge cloud technologies.

Leads Fastly’s global total rewards strategy, including executive and broad-based compensation, equity, benefits, wellness, retirement, mobility, and immigration programs. Advises senior leadership and the Compensation Committee, oversees compliance and vendors, prepares board and proxy materials, develops competitive global programs, and manages the compensation and benefits team. Partners across HR, finance, legal, and talent functions to drive pay-for-performance, employee engagement, communication, and organizational growth.

Architects, implements, and maintains secure web application solutions using Fastly security products, especially Next-Gen WAF, across edge, cloud, and on-premises deployments. Onboards customers, assesses security requirements, provides health checks and performance tuning, develops training materials, and supports pre-sales proof-of-concept activities. The role requires expertise in web application security, OWASP practices, DDoS protection, rate limiting, HTTP, TLS, and network troubleshooting, along with project delivery experience.
