Supports the press operator in flexible packaging production by preparing inks and materials, installing printing components, monitoring press operation, checking print quality, performing tests, cleaning and maintaining equipment, replenishing supplies, and following safety and quality procedures. The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to stand and move for extended periods. Training is provided to develop skills toward becoming a press operator.

Operate and adjust slitter machines to convert raw material rolls into finished products. Responsibilities include preparing machines, installing and changing rolls, adjusting cutting and production settings, monitoring output, performing quality inspections, documenting production, packaging finished rolls, completing basic machine maintenance, and following safety and quality procedures.

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, adjustment, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and electronic production equipment, including bag-making machines, flexographic presses, cutting, and lamination equipment. Document interventions in maintenance software, support automation and continuous-improvement projects, analyze equipment performance, and follow workplace safety standards. The role works evening or overnight shifts and requires prolonged standing and movement.

Performs quality control inspections and testing on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished flexible packaging products. Verifies dimensions, appearance, adhesion, strength, and other specifications; documents nonconformities; supports root-cause investigations and corrective actions; collaborates with production teams; assists with customer complaint investigations, audits, and BRCGS documentation; and maintains calibrated inspection equipment.
